ALEX MUIR, DRUMMOND FARM wines
#finewineday
Friday night
Get a few friends together, snacks, blankets and wine then make my way over to Norfolk road pizza for the evening.
Saturday Morning
A quick jont to the Featherston Vege market for a couple of delightful items to throw over an open flame at the beach later on before heading to OMG for a scrumptious breakfast burger.
Now it's a bit of a close one for the activity of the day! But if you want to head to the Patuna Chasm for the day turn to page 6 - If you decide salt air is what you need then turn to page 11. A drive out to the coast to stretch the legs and clear the mind is always a must! I like to head out to Cape Palliser to say hello to a few seals before walking up a couple of stairs to the top of the light house for that Gram selfie.
Afternoon
On the way back though Ngawi I like to stop into the food caravan there and get some hot chips by the ocean.
To top it all off a couple of hours before sunset if you have a surf casting rod I like to throw a line into the big mighty blue and see if anyone is home. While I wait for the yellow fin tuna I like to light a fire and have a beer. If all goes to plan with some fresh vege from the morning throw it into a pan on the flame with that tasty Tuna and you're off!
Dreamy.
Evening
Head back to Martinborough for the remainder of the evening and stop in at Mesita Wine Bar for some taco’s or fried chicken and some local wines, if you’re lucky they’ll have some live music for you do get down to.
