The Wairarapa is a short drive from Wellington. Drive yourself or take a tour bus, many connect to the region via a train journey from Wellington through the Remutuka hill rail tunnel. Whether you’re coming from the north or south, you can taste the wines and explore the vines with ease.

 
 
 

TRAIN

Jump on a WRL train at Wellington Central Station and enter Wairarapa through the Remutaka Hill.

Martinborough
Take the train to Featherston Station. Get on the 200 or 205 bus to Martinborough’s centre.

Greytown
Take the train to Woodside Station. Jump on the 204 bus to Greytown.

Masterton
